What better way to spend your night (life) other than with a big ol’ snack bowl, in your pj’s, and with a big ol’ computer screen with the word “Netflix” on it? At least that’s my ideal way of spending a Friday night. What’s yours?
Anyway, we all know Netflix is an iconic site, known for their shows, series, movies and whatever it is that you’re watching on it.
I’ve only got to actually enjoy Netlfix a couple of months ago, when my oh-so-sweet friend thought “hey would you like my password” and I instantly said yes. Bless friends like this, oh my lord.
Coming back to the subject, in the past 2 or 3 months I’ve watched quite a few movies and series on Netflix, and I’m in actual love with quite a few of them. So, if you don’t know what to watch next, I hope my post will help you! Without any further ado, here are some shows on Netflix you have GOT to watch!
This was the first show I ever started watching, and needless to say that I am OBSESSED WITH IT. I’ve watched all the seasons, and I am now re-watching them for the third time. If Joey and Chandler had a kid, that’d be me! Also, Rachel, it was pretty clear that you and Ross WERE ON A BREAK.
This is such a funny show with such amazing characters and story, and it ended so gracefully. It’s so well-thought out, I want to cry. I’ve made like 6 of my FRIENDS start watching it and lemme tell you they were NOT disappointed. You have GOT to watch this. Out of all the shows I’ll talk about, this is the one I would really recommend. It’s for all ages you could watch it with your friends, your parents, your dog. Whatever you want!
Rick and Morty
This show is pure comedy gold. I’m more than sure you’ve heard of it, and if you’ve not, what kind of rock are you living under???
Basically, Morty, a teenager, has adventures all around the Multiverse with his genius, alcoholic grandpa, Rick. This is the most controversial, yet the funniest show ever for so many reasons. From Pickle Rick, to Mr. Poopybutthole, to Birdperson and so much more, Rick and Morty is a must-watch.
13 Reasons Why
Round of applause please. Because THIS show, is just wonderful. It spreads suicide awareness, under the tragic story of Hannah Baker, and needless to say that I have been waiting for season 2 since April of last year, when the show first came out.
Long story short, after Hannah’s tragic suicide, she leaves behind a series of tape with the reasons why she killed herself. And apparently, according to a website I read a long time ago, she’s not dead, but in a coma, and that’s how S2 is going to start, but I’m not sure about that. We’ll see…
Santa Clarita Diet
I haven’t watched a lot of this series yet, but I’ve got a vague idea of what it’s about, and I think that it’s such an interesting story.
“Sheila and Joel are married real estate agents in Santa Clarita, California. When Sheila dies, their lives take a dark turn.”
I’m not going to say any more, mainly because I don’t know what else to say, but I think this show could be fun if you’re into stuff like this.
The World’s Most Extraordinary Homes
You know sometimes you’re on YouTube, and you fall down a black hole filled with strange videos, and if you do that often, this show is perfect for you.
I’m not saying it’s strange or anything, but it’s a definite pick for when you’re feeling bored of your regular old TV shows, and want to watch something different, They show all types of different homes on this show, and it’s actually fascinating how some people thought of building their homes! It’s totally worth watching!
I know shows like “Riverdale” or “Stranger Things” aren’t on this list, but that’s mainly because I never got the hang of them, and you’ve probably heard of them a gazillion times before. I wanted to talk about shows you may not have heard of that I think you should give a try! I hope you’ve enjoyed my post and that I’ve hopefully helped some of you struggling to find something new to watch. \
Love ya. Cheers, bye x
