2-Ingredient Honey Face Mask || 5 Ways

Honey is amazing. It’s delicious, it helps if you have a sore throat, has skin-brightening benefits, and never goes bad! Name a more iconic product. I’ll wait.

Anywho, the other day I was looking to buy a face mask, and found a honey-based one that really intrigued me, buuuut then I saw it was 30 bucks for a small, hand cream-sized face mask, and I said to myself “nO NO NO, SIR! Pinterest it is!” and so it was. Upon through the research, I found out that honey, combined with all this stuff, has some pretty impressive benefits for your skin, whether it’s dry, acne prone, or normal, but you’re feeling like having a pamper night session.

All you have to do for each of these is mix’em up and leave on your face for 10-15 minutes.

Honey and coffee grounds:

This coffee mask is incredible when it comes to livening up your complexion. The texture of the coffee grounds gently exfoliates your dull, winter skin to reveal a healthy spring glow, while their caffeine helps to reduce redness and puffiness. It even works wonders on dark under eye circles! Mixing the coffee with milk helps to create a bright, clear complexion and leaves your skin silky smooth once you rinse the mask off. – WellnessToday

Honey and cinnamon:

If you have acne-prone skin, this will work wonders. The main reason for using honey and cinnamon to treat acne is because it can help to kill the bacteria that contribute to inflamed pores. So, this should be a miracle worker for loads of y’all!

Honey and sugar:

Its coarse texture helps in exfoliation and buffing away all those dead cells on your skin. It helps greatly in giving you the natural glowing skin. There are many more ingredients that work as exfoliation ingredients such as Epsom salt, oats, baking soda, etc. but sugar has proven itself to be the best of all.

Honey and lemon juice:

It contains anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties which penetrate deeply into the skin to absorb impurities from the pores. It also keeps the skin fresh, smooth and wrinkle free. Lemon works as a great exfoliator to get rid of acne, sun burn and other blemishes. Apply honey and lemon face pack twice a week to get best results.

Honey and green tea:

This mask is also on the acne-treating side. Supposedly, the green tea is supposed to dry out any acne, while the honey will get rid of it completely. Sounds really interesting, but say you’re having a green tea, and sweetened it a bit with some honey: would it act the same in your belly? Like, would the tea dry you out like a raisin and the honey will evaporate you??? Questions.

Haha, I hope you’ve enjoyed this post, and hopefully I’ve helped you improve your skin by any means. But remember, acne-prone or not, you’re still beautiful. Don’t ever forget that!
