Frosted Woods | Winter Lookbook 2018

January..the month we all consider as a blank canvas. I did that too, to be honest with you.

Once December was over, I was sooo happy for January to approach us, only to find myself procrastinating even more than the month before!

Here’s the thing, we all set goals. It’s natural. It’s human. But when the time we have set for ourselves to start working for them goals comes, at least in my case, I get all lazy and stuff. It’s like January is a free trial month, and the actual new year starts in February!

In other words, I am back! I know I haven’t written anything in a week or so, BUT, I’ve become more organised blog-wise (which was actually one of my new year’s resolutions) and I am now proud to announce that I will be posting every Thursday’s and Saturday’s! Yaay!!

And the first post I am giving you, is….*drum roll please* *i know you read the title but still* a winter lookbook!!

Y’all love my lookbooks I’ve seen, in fact my most popular post is my autumn lookbook from last year, and I’ve decided to do one, once again! To be honest with you, I hate dressing up for winter, and I was quite sceptical (and still am) about this post, because:

  1. Chubby clothes everywhere. I look chubby enough with light clothing on, and winter just makes me look like a marshmallow with feet.
  2. NO chubby clothing is fashionable (at least in the case of my city). If you wanna show off your outfit, you’ve got to unzip everything, which’ll have you F R E E Z I N G by 2.
  3. Linking the clothes I am wearing is a PAIN, because I can’t remember where I got everything :/

I guess a good thing about winter clothing is that you can wear anything you want underneath, as long as everything you have on is zipped. You could legit go out in pj’s, throw on a coat and beanie and you’re good to bloody go!

Anyway, without any further ado, here you have my winter lookbook for 2018 (still not used to spelling that).

Outfit No 1

This one, to me, represents the month of December, when everything is quite chilly, but not exactly freezing, and you can get away with not wearing a pair of gloves. (Also, I am really sorry about this, but the editing made my turtleneck look a very pinkish colour, when in fact it was a close colour to my boots. I mean, I guess, not close enough, since it left the colour of my boots just fine and decided to mess up my shirt. I’m not actually wearing 24 different colours alright. *exhales*, take is easy Maya, take it easy.)

Outfit No 2

Freezing ol’ Jan, the coats are coming in! Also, do you see the marshmallow situation I was talking about?

Outfit No 3

This one is definitely my fave, all red everything, hmm, what could this mean? V Day of course! Also, my bae and I (Oreo) got matching outfits, which I found VERY exciting!! A little too exciting to be honest..

I really do hope you enjoyed my post, y’all! Feel free to leave a comment if you did.

Love ya. Cheers, bye x

Hello Maya! I loved your pictures! January looks less frosty under a red French beret that suits you wonderfully!
    Kisses and hugs!
